A private Japanese garden in the heart of Edinburgh. It is currently in the middle of construction.
A private garden in Edinburgh Scotland. The design derive from experience the client in fact had in places like Ryoan -ji and Rothko Room at the Tate Modern Gallery in London. The design focused on creating space and time where owners will enjoy reflection and contemplation. The garden consist of 3 areas in3 different types of Japanese garden, The west terraced garden is a Roji garden. It is an approach in tea garden in japan. The main courtyard is a pond garden which can be viewed from Kitchen of the main house and gym studio. Karesansui is designed in south east of the house with a stone arrangement. The stone arrangement were made with the stones extracted from the excavation for new extension. The construction stated in January 2022 and is currently in the construction.
